the best affordable art sources

I recently went on the hunt for some affordable art to complete one client's dining room and another potential client's master bedroom and bathroom, and in the process I ended up stumbling upon so many great pieces that I just had to share with you guys. It is so difficult to find unique art that is high quality and doesn't cost a ton of money. A lot of these pieces come framed, which is a major bonus since it can easily cost the price of the art just for custom framing!

Not all of these made the cut for these particular designs, but I think they are all lovely, and some of these babies are even making their way into our home!

forest green + a new "man cave"

I've been brainstorming ideas for Charlie's "man room" and I keep finding myself drawn to deep, forest green walls. This color is totally different than what I normally gravitate towards, but I'm up for the challenge. Last week I shared where I'm incorporating this color into the upholstery of a project I'm working on, and I'm totally ready to try it in my own home!

Choosing the right color for the walls is going to be difficult, because this green can go wrong so quickly. I've been looking at Shamrock and Evergreens by Sherwin-Willams and Chopped Chive and Painted Turtle from Behr. These are all totally different from each other, and the furniture we decide on is what is going to help make the final decision. I'm almost 100% sold on this sofa for the room.

There will definitely be some Eames Lounge Chair action, along with a wall of his guitars, lots of wood, and major pops of gold.

I also found this fab photography on Society 6 (my new obsession) to add with our other Marfa prints.

I can. not. wait. to see how it turns out. Who knew I'd get so excited for a man room!
