festive fourth

I wrote last year about wanting to throw a red, white, and blue party to celebrate my Dad's birthday and the Fourth of July, but since our family lives out of town I didn't get the chance. We've just found out they are coming to spend the Fourth of July with us this year, so I hit the ground running with party planning!

I hope to have pictures of the party up soon!

instagram updates

First of all, I want to thank everyone for all of the support I received yesterday. It felt so good! Charlie also received some good news at work, so he took the day off today, and we're going to Six Flags to celebrate BOTH of our accomplishments. So excited!

Here are a few instas from last week.
I've become obsessed with constantly having our home filled with fresh flowers.
I woke up yesterday morning and noticed it looked red outside. I peeked through the blinds and found this beautiful sky.
I scored this awesome table for $25. I don't know exactly what I'm going to do with it, but I just had to bring it home with me. Currently it's being used in our dining room as a plant stand.
My brother-in-law and his fiance visited us this weekend. I went with her to pick out some new accessories for their apartment and came home with a whole car load of good stuff. HomeGoods for the win... again.
I wish I had a "before" to show, but all she had was the table and chairs. She's going to use the expedit to display pretty plates, glasses, etc. I think it's coming together nicely!

today is the day

I am very excited to announce...
Stacy Graves Design has officially launched, and I can't even begin to tell you how happy I am that I finally made the decision to pursue my dream of working in interior design. I've had this dream since high school, and can now finally say it is a reality! I know I've said it before, but I can't thank you enough if you've helped me on this journey to change my career. I'm forever grateful!
