clutter be gone!

I'm still working on my New Year's resolution to declutter. It's a long process going through absolutely everything we own, but I know it will all pay off soon. I probably should have taken a before picture of our guest bedroom and closet, but just know that it was really, really bad. It was full of a million leftover wedding things, plus a bunch of my teaching stuff, plus holiday decorations, plus all of my clothes, shoes, and home decor that I no longer wanted. Yeah, bad. I finally cleared it out and sorted it into donate, sell in garage sale, or sell online piles. The closet is almost complete except for a small pile of clothes that I plan to sell online. I'm excited that I can finally fit our elliptical in here that I can now easily slide in and out when I use it. We used to keep it in our guest room, but it took up a ton of space.
Unfortunately, now our hallway and entryway now look like we belong on an episode of Hoarders.
If you know me at all, you know that clutter gives me anxiety, but I know that the mess has to get worse before it can get better. Unfortunately this stuff has to sit here for the next week until we haul it up to Oklahoma to put into a garage sale. While we're in Oklahoma I'm hopefully finally going to get around to making the curtains for our bedroom. I've had the fabric since November, so it's about time I get them done!

We finally got our tree! It's small now, but these babies are supposed to get pretty big. Hopefully I can keep it alive long enough to grow!
Our almost finished bookshelf. I still need to add a few more books and spray paint the frame gold. I'm also not 100% happy with the setup, so I'm sure I'll be moving it around a few more times. It seems to me like there is too much going on. Suggestions?
Charlie surprised me with ranunculus - my favorite flower!
Finally got my hot pink satchel. Love.
On Saturday morning we decided it had been way too long since there was a chocolate covered sprinkled doughnut in our lives.
The Rifle calendar finally went on sale, and I made it mine.

On another note, I think I'm going to buy this basket to put our tree in
