A little of our bathroom update. More to come!
I found a fun tray on clearance at Pier1, and added it to our bar area in the dining room.
At home reading with my boys and watching SNL. That is my kind of Saturday night.
If you live in Dallas and haven't been to Norazo Karaoke, you must. You get your own private room with your friends, so there are no worries about being silly in front of strangers. It looks a little sketchy (OK, a lot sketchy), and it is hard to find, but I promise you will have an absolutely wonderful time!
Valentine's surprise from my man. A Kit-Kat is always the way to my heart.

neon pink

After eyeing this neon pink satchel from The Cambridge Satchel Company for quite awhile, I finally bought it today! I started seeing it showing up in magazines and blogs, and since things usually sell out right when I finally decide to buy them, I decided not to wait anymore.
I was able to find this one at ModCloth for almost $20 less than J.Crew, and I was able to get an additional 20% off with a coupon code! I'm glad I waited!

lucite bench

I have quite an unhealthy obsession with lucite furniture, and it doesn't help that I have not yet managed to find a single affordable piece to add to our home. Just one of the many items on my wishlist is a lucite bench. I'd love to have one at the foot of our bed, or maybe even use it as a coffee table.
This is the most affordable option I have been able to find at $1,400. Even after the "sale" price I'll never be able to justify $1,000+ for a bench. I'm not giving up though, and I'll be keeping an eye out at the Horchow outlet for one of these bad boys.
