color crush: indigo and white

It's taking over all of my designs recently, and I just can't get enough of indigo paired with a crisp white. You may have seen that I posted this little sneak peek of our bedroom on instagram and twitter:

The combination of white, indigo, and brass just has me all excited. We're still waiting on things to come in, but my goal is to have our bedroom ready to share in March.

This bedroom from Amber Interiors is perfection, as are all of her designs!

And everything that Emily Henderson designs is on point.

What is your favorite color combination as of late?

the best affordable art sources

I recently went on the hunt for some affordable art to complete one client's dining room and another potential client's master bedroom and bathroom, and in the process I ended up stumbling upon so many great pieces that I just had to share with you guys. It is so difficult to find unique art that is high quality and doesn't cost a ton of money. A lot of these pieces come framed, which is a major bonus since it can easily cost the price of the art just for custom framing!

Not all of these made the cut for these particular designs, but I think they are all lovely, and some of these babies are even making their way into our home!

dallas market design trends

Last week I took a trip to Dallas Market to check out this year's design trends, and I found just what I was hoping for: whites, neutrals, pastels, and a favorite from last year, indigo (sorry, Marsala). It was also all about layers of texture. Linen, natural and reclaimed wood, faux fur, and nubby knits to name a few. Here are a few of my favorite things:

Nicole and I having fun in the Studio A | Global Views showroom.

Give me that cobalt velvet sofa! A favorite at the Codarus Showroom.

These pastel chandeliers by Ro Sham Beaux were my favorite Market find.

I'm thinking the top right chandelier needs to find its new home in our dining room!

More wood, more texture!

The only bit of marsala I could find at my favorite spot in the Feizy showroom.
